Pool & Spa Safety Inspection

From $265inc. GST

Description

Bass Coast Pool Inspections offers a thorough on-site Pool & Spa Safety Inspection carried out by a registered, licensed, and fully insured Pool Safety Inspector. This service assesses your pool or spa barrier against the requirements of the applicable Australian Standard to determine compliance. Our qualified inspector will meticulously check your pool safety barrier, including fencing, gates, windows, retaining walls, boundary fences, and any other climbable items that could allow a young person to access the pool area. If the barrier meets the standards, you will be issued a Certificate of Barrier Compliance (CBC) on the correct Form 23, which you can then lodge with your local council. If the barrier is non-compliant, the inspector will provide a detailed electronic report outlining the exact requirements needed to achieve compliance. Where possible, we assist with minor fixes on the day of the inspection, such as moving climbable items (furniture, pot plants), adjusting gate hinges or latches, or fitting non-climbable caps to hinges. If significant repairs are needed, you are given up to 60 days to rectify the faults. Our initial inspection package includes cost-effective remedy advice, a detailed electronic report, a price match guarantee, and one free re-inspection to verify that any required safety barrier repairs have been successfully completed. This service is essential for mandatory Victorian council registration and is also highly recommended as a pre-sale or pre-lease inspection to avoid real estate settlement delays, eliminate the risk of costly repairs, and ensure legal compliance.
