Asbestos Inspections & Clearance
Description
Fowler Building Inspections provides comprehensive asbestos services to ensure the safety of your home or worksite. Australia has one of the highest rates of asbestos-related diseases in the world, making asbestos awareness and management crucial, especially during home renovations and maintenance. All homes built before 1987 should undergo a building survey before purchasing, renovating, or demolishing. Our licensed Asbestos Assessor can undertake a thorough assessment of your property, providing NATA-approved laboratory results at an affordable cost. Asbestos can be found in numerous areas, including roofs, gutters, eaves, under tiled floors, electric meter boxes, internal and external wall sheets, sheds, fencing, window putty, imitation brick cladding, and wall linings behind tiled walls in wet areas. We offer sample collection of Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) for testing, control plans, and risk assessment documentation. For post-removal works, our principal Robert Fowler is licensed with Safework NSW (Licence No: LAA001314) to provide air monitoring during Class A asbestos removal work, clearance inspections, and the issuing of clearance certificates. If you discover asbestos, do not disturb it; our licensed technicians can establish a plan to safely manage it, with services available for domestic, commercial, and industrial sites logged with NSW WorkCover. We also use and recommend local experts for asbestos removal, disposal, and sealing, ensuring all technicians have undertaken relevant training and medical checkups.
