This may mean you have to upgrade fencing or safety barriers to ensure compliance with South Australian regulations. It is also your responsibility to ensure swimming pool compliance for any rental properties, before tenants move in.
Independent and comprehensive pool safety inspections from Home Inspect SA identify any areas of non-compliance and supply you will all the information needed to meet the required safety standards. This will enable you to rectify any issues before you go to market or before tenants move in.
We will also complete a secondary inspection to issue a compliance certificate, giving prospective buyers peace of mind before they buy, and tenants reassurance that the swimming pool meets safety standards.
An initial Swimming Pool Compliance inspection involves a detailed, on-site assessment of the pool or spa against Australian Regulatory Standards. A full report will be provided within 24 hours outlining any areas of non-compliance and recommendations for rectification or, if the pool is compliant, a Certificate of Pool Compliance will be issued.
Where there are areas of non-compliance, a secondary inspection is recommended to verify compliance once the issues have been rectified.
