Our Building Inspectors will conduct a visual inspection, usually lasting 1-2 hours; the building inspection covers everything from faulty roofs to rising damp and cracked walls and both internal and external areas of the property. The Building Inspector will then provide an extensive and thorough report in accordance with Australian Standard AS 4349.1-2007. The building inspection report will give conclusions regarding the incidence of major defects found in the home as well as the inspectors opinion on minor defects, this generally includes recommendations for repair or next steps. The inspection report will be emailed to you and includes full colour photographs of the internal & external areas, roof cavity and roof coverings, with particular focus on any areas of concern.

A combined building and pest inspection is our most comprehensive inspection service and is highly recommended for all Adelaide properties to ensure both building defects and evidence of pests are identified. All homes contain timber elements that may be vulnerable to attack from timber pests such as termites, wood borers and wood decay fungi (wood rot). A full report will be provided within 24 hours outlining any areas of non-compliance and recommendations for rectification or, if the pool is compliant, a Certificate of Pool Compliance will be issued. Where there are areas of non-compliance, a secondary inspection is recommended to verify compliance once the issues have been rectified.
