New Construction Frame (Pre-Lining) Inspection
Estimated arrival time: 24 to 48 hours
Description
The new construction frame inspection takes place during the construction phase after the timber or steel frame is erected, but prior to wall and ceiling linings being installed. This critical stage allows inspectors to examine the structural framing that will subsequently be concealed behind plasterboard. Our licensed inspectors assess the quality of timber construction, checking wall alignment, roof frame geometry, tie-downs, wall bracing, and load-bearing elements against national building codes and Australian Standards. Identifying framing irregularities early ensures that rectifications can be carried out promptly by the builder without disturbing interior finishes. Clients are provided with a clear visual inspection report complete with detailed photographs and factual observations. This independent document provides peace of mind that your home's structural skeleton has been constructed accurately and safely before progressing to subsequent building stages.
