The inspection takes approximately 1 to 2 hours depending on the property size and covers all accessible areas, including the building's interior and exterior, roof space, roof exterior, under-floor space, garage, carport, garden shed, separate laundry or toilet, small retaining walls, steps, fencing, paths, and driveways. Pest and Termite Inspection
Est. arrival time: Within 24 hours
A dedicated pest and termite inspection is highly recommended to ensure your property remains structurally viable and worry-free. Conducted by a licensed pest inspector, this service meticulously tests for the existence of pests, termites, and borer activity, as well as identifying any environmental conditions conducive to future infestations. The inspector thoroughly examines the property for telltale signs of termite presence, which can cause significant hidden damage. Key indicators include a hollow sound when knocking on wooden structures, the appearance of narrow mud tubes used for travel, and bubbling or peeling paint caused by internal structural invasion. The inspector also looks for small entry holes, moisture-driven water damage, buckling walls or ceilings resulting from weakened wooden foundations, maze-like designs eaten into wood, and termite droppings that resemble piles of sawdust or coffee grounds. Additionally, the inspection accounts for the appearance of termite swarms, which typically emerge during the spring. Following the comprehensive assessment, clients receive a detailed report within 24 hours, complete with high-resolution color photographs documenting any findings. The inspector remains available after the report's delivery to answer questions, ensuring you are fully informed about the property's condition and any necessary steps to protect your investment from destructive pests.

The pricing is clearly listed on the website, and it was easy to make a booking. I paid $517 for a builder warranty inspection. The inspection process itself seemed fine, but when I received the report the next day, I noticed that three defects we had clearly discussed during the inspection were completely missing from the report. After several back-and-forth emails, they finally added them in with the photos I was asked to send. Later, I also discovered two wall cracks that the inspector had missed. I didn’t even bother emailing them again to revise the report. Overall, I feel this was a complete waste of money. The report was extremely basic and not worth the price.
