Keeping your pool area safe is essential for every homeowner, body corporate, and developer. A licensed pool inspection ensures your swimming pool safety barriers meet the strict requirements of Queensland law, giving you peace of mind and a valid compliance certificate. Whether it’s an in-ground pool, above-ground pool, spa pool, or even inflatable pools and wading pools, our experienced inspectors are here to help you achieve full compliance quickly and stress-free. Queensland’s Building Act requires all private and public swimming pools to be inspected for compliance. A valid pool and spa safety certificate is required every 2 years for private homeowners, annually for body corporate managers of shared pools, and before selling or leasing a property with a pool or spa. Our comprehensive pool inspection services include checking pool barriers and safety barriers for height, strength, and gaps, ensuring pool fences and gates are self-closing and secure, verifying safe access points and preventing dangerous climbable objects, inspecting spa pools and associated barriers, and reviewing doors, walls, and surrounds for compliance. We help homeowners, landlords, and body corporates reduce the danger of drowning and keep their family and all pool users safe. If your pool has non-compliant barriers, you’ll receive a clear report with recommendations, and once rectified, we’ll conduct a re-inspection to confirm compliance.

Building your dream home, extending your existing space, or developing a commercial property is an exciting time, but ensuring your structure complies with the approved building plans and appropriate building standards is critical. Our private building certifiers assess and approve plans for new building work, alterations, and additions, and inspect mandatory stages of building work to ensure compliance with the Building Code of Australia and local legislation. Within your building permit, the required stage-by-stage inspections will be identified. For example, a basic house will require four mandatory inspections: Footings, Bond Beam, Frame, and Final Stage. Once we’ve issued your Decision Notice, it will specify the listed inspections required and the documents that must be supplied before we can issue your final forms. When you require an inspection, depending on what stage your works are up to, simply contact our administration three days prior to organise a suitable time. We also offer regular check-ins during construction to ensure you do not miss any required inspections. During the final site inspection, our experienced building certifiers review the completed construction work, verifying compliance with local standards. This crucial step includes evaluating structural elements, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire safety features. After the inspection, we review all necessary documentation, such as certificates of compliance and testing reports. Once all requirements are met and the building works are deemed satisfactory, we issue final certificates (such as a Form 21, 16, or 17, or a Certificate of Occupancy) and send them for council approval. We take the stress and hassle out of getting your building permit, offering hands-on support and friendly communication at any stage you need throughout your residential or commercial building approval project.
