I got Chris to do the inspection for my first property purchase earlier this week and he was fantastic to work with. He was on point with communication, took the extra time to explain things in a way that made sense to a first timer, and got the inspection report to me same day. Could not have asked for better and will definitely be using him again for any future inspections.

I used Safe and Sound Building Inspections to do a pre- purchase inspection of a property i was buying from Fletcher's of Blackburn. They reported back that the property was in good condition. When i moved in, i found two windows had to be replaced. cost $5,000. The heating in the ceiling not working and all ducts requiring replacement, cost $7,000, the two showers had been leaking for decades and walls around showers to be repaired, cost $5,000, pergola needed repairs and paint, cost $3,000, the alarm system needed replacing, cost $4,000, the back of the house flooding and water entering the lounge and spare room, cost $1,000 to drain, pathways needed to be repaired, cost $1,000, the garage had water seepage damage, cost unknown, and half of the remaining widows needed to be repaired because of the dodgy repairs to them, cost $5,000.The carpet had to be replaced at a cost of $12,000. Over $42,000 in faults. When i asked Safe and Sound did they actually check the property for faults and they told me they were working for Fletcher's of Blackburn and I told them no they were working for me as i paid for the invoice.
