A pool barrier compliance certificate (Form 23) is now mandatory for all pool owners, and a copy must be supplied to your local council in accordance with recent legislation. Because this inspection is highly specific, only a trained and registered building inspector can perform it. Our registered pool inspector will visit your property to thoroughly assess the pool barrier against the specific safety legislation relevant to the age of your pool and barrier. Following the initial inspection, you will be provided with a detailed summary of any areas that need to be fixed or amended in order to comply. It is then your responsibility as the owner to attend to these items before booking our revisit. Once the necessary rectifications are completed and the pool barrier is deemed compliant during the revisit, a Form 23 certificate of compliance is provided to you, which you can then forward to your local council.
