Purchasing a home is a significant investment, and a pre-purchase building inspection ensures you are making an informed decision. Designed around the requirements of Australian Standard 4349.1-2007, our goal is to provide enough information for our clients to make an informed decision regarding the property and its condition on the day of the inspection. During the 1 to 4-hour onsite assessment, we meticulously inspect the roof exterior, internal roof space, building exterior and interior, subfloor, and grounds and appendages within 30 meters of the property. We look for structural damage, major and minor defects (including maintenance issues and wear and tear), and critical safety or health concerns. Our assessment also covers installation defects, poor construction, defective plumbing, drainage issues, water penetration, material deterioration, corrosion, fungal decay, operational defects, distortion, warping, subsidence, cracking, or movement. A summary and conclusion as to the overall condition will be provided. The comprehensive report, complete with photos and easy-to-read descriptions of items of importance, will be emailed to you the following day.
