Pool and Spa Barrier Compliance Inspection
Description
Ensure your swimming pool or spa barrier complies with Victorian government regulations with our comprehensive Pool and Spa Barrier Compliance Inspection. Current laws mandate that owners of pools and spas capable of holding more than 300 mm (30 cm) of water must register their pool with the local council and lodge a Certificate of Barrier Compliance every four years. Our service covers permanent pools, above-ground pools, indoor pools, hot tubs, bathing or wading pools, and relocatable pools. During the inspection, our VBA-registered and Swimming Pool & Spa Association of Victoria certified inspectors will conduct a thorough assessment of your safety barriers. We check construction materials, measurements, and potential hazards to ensure everything meets the relevant Australian Standards. This includes verifying the minimum 1.2-metre barrier height, checking for vertical or bottom gaps, testing the self-closing and self-latching mechanisms of gates, and identifying hazards like loose tiles or exposed electrical outlets. If your barrier is fully compliant, we will issue a Certificate of Barrier Compliance (Form 23) for you to lodge with your local council within 30 days. If non-compliant issues are found, you will receive a detailed report within 24 hours, complete with photographs and a comprehensive list of required alterations. We provide unlimited support at no additional cost and will work with you until you achieve full compliance, including a re-inspection once repairs are completed. Protect your family, reduce the risk of accidents, and avoid severe council penalties by ensuring your pool area is safe and fully certified today.
