InspectorFind website badges

The InspectorFind ratings badge is a free embed for your own website that links visitors to your InspectorFind profile and local inspector directory.

The website badge is separate from paid verification and does not affect your verified status or ranking.

Why add a badge?

When you embed our official snippet on a domain you control, it creates:

• A visible InspectorFind rating for buyers.
• Crawlable links from your website back to your InspectorFind profile and local directory.
• A public connection between your brand and your InspectorFind reputation.

Available badge

The current badge is on the Website Badges page in your business dashboard (/business/website-badges):

Live ratings badge — shows your current InspectorFind star rating, updated automatically, and links to your profile and local directory.

Placement guidelines:

• Prefer above the fold sections buyers trust: alongside About, Book / Quote, Pricing, or Contact — not hidden in a footer-only row no one scrolls to.
• One clear placement is enough; multiple placements are welcome if they feel natural.

How to install (inspectors)

Sign in → open Business → Website Badges (/business/website-badges).

Then in your CMS (WordPress HTML block, Squarespace code embed, Shopify custom liquid section, etc.):

1. Copy the badge HTML from the Website Badges page.
2. Paste into an HTML embed block — not a plain text block.
3. Publish and check in a private browser window that the badge loads correctly.

If your host aggressively strips embeds, ask us via Contact us — we maintain lightweight iframe-only patterns where possible.
