InspectorFind.com.au

A directory buyers can trust, and inspectors can stand behind

InspectorFind is the neutral third party between property buyers and inspection businesses across Australia.

For buyers

Compare inspectors before you book

Hiring an inspector is one of the few checks you get before a property becomes yours. We pull services, coverage, credentials, and reviews into one profile so you are not guessing from a glossy website.

  • Search by suburb and inspection type
  • Compare services, pricing, and credentials in one place
  • Verified inspectors are fully insured and certified, with those documents checked by our team
  • Free to use — you hire the inspector, not us

For inspectors

A credible place to publish your business

If you already work to a high standard, InspectorFind is where buyers can see it. List your services and coverage. Verification is for inspectors who are fully insured and certified — our team reviews those documents before the mark goes on a profile.

  • Publish your services, coverage, and credentials
  • Stand apart from unqualified operators
  • Verification requires full insurance and current certification
  • Optional website badge for your own site

Questions

Frequently asked questions

For buyers comparing inspectors, and for businesses deciding whether to list. See the inspection types.

Is InspectorFind free for buyers?

Yes. Searching and comparing inspectors costs nothing. You pay the inspection business you choose to hire, not InspectorFind.

Does InspectorFind carry out inspections?

No. We do not sell inspections. InspectorFind is an independent directory. Each listing is a separate inspection business, and you contact them directly.

What does Verified mean?

Verified means our team has checked that the inspector is fully insured and certified for the inspections they advertise. We review current qualifications and active insurance, including professional indemnity, before the mark is shown. It is not a government licence, and it does not change where a profile sits in search results.

How do I choose an inspection type?

Start with what you are doing: buying a house, checking a new build, selling before auction, or getting a pool barrier signed off. The Inspections page explains each type and links to a fuller guide.

How do I contact an inspector?

Open their profile or a service page and use the phone, email, or website listed there. InspectorFind does not take a booking on their behalf.

How do I list my inspection business?

Create an account and complete your profile: services, coverage, qualifications, and insurance. Anyone can read the requirements on the join page before signing up.

Who can get verified?

Only inspectors who are fully insured and certified for the services on their profile. That means current licences or certifications that match the work they advertise, and active insurance including professional indemnity. We also look for a review score of 3 or above from reviews left on InspectorFind. Our team checks the documents before the mark is shown.

Where does InspectorFind operate?

Australia-wide. How many inspectors you see near you depends on who has joined and, for the verified mark, who has passed review. We would rather show fewer businesses we can stand behind.
